Help refugee children in Uganda!

In Uganda, South Sudanese refugees, who have fled the horrors of war, live in a the Bidibidi settlement. Families have been torn apart - most refugees are children and women - and the sense of security has broken down.

I do not know where my Mom is. The war separated us. – Fiona

Although the settlement should be temporary, it feels like an established urban center. Life is not easy and many things are lacking. Children lack hope for the future and cannot afford school supplies. After all the trauma, there is a need for a normal and safe daily life: adequate food, play, and school. Childhood has been robbed from too many too soon.

By supporting the Food for Life campaign, you help refugee children get the care and support they need for their trauma. You also help them enjoy a normal life and realize their hope for playing, school, and learning something new.
